PRIVACY POLICY

Shippinit LLC ("Shippinit", "we", "us") is a fulfillment and e-commerce company based in Santa Barbara, California. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers:

- our website, shippinit.net;
- our business apps, "Shippinit" (the operations app our team uses to run our own online shops and our fulfillment work) and "Shippinit Partner" (the app for the vendors, brokers and clients we work with); and
- the connections these apps make to Etsy, Pinterest, shipping services and AI services.


1. OUR WEBSITE

Our website is informational. It has no accounts, sign-ups or contact forms. If you email, call or message us on WhatsApp, we use what you send us to answer you and to do business with you.

The company that hosts our website may automatically record standard technical information (such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit) and may use cookies that are needed for the site to work. We do not sell this information and do not use it for advertising.


2. WHERE OUR APPS KEEP INFORMATION

Our apps store our business records — products, stock, shipments, invoices and partner records — in Apple's iCloud, in the private iCloud database of our company's Apple account, and on our own devices. Shippinit does not run servers of its own and keeps no separate copy elsewhere.

- Records we share with a partner are shared through Apple's iCloud sharing, and only with partners we invite.
- Bank details and tax IDs are stored in iCloud's encrypted fields.
- Sign-in tokens and API keys are kept in each device's secure Keychain.
- Backups we make can be protected with a password.


3. ETSY

Our apps connect only to Etsy shops that we own or manage, with the shop owner's permission through Etsy's own sign-in. With that permission we read orders, listings, reviews and shop statistics, mark orders as shipped, and create or edit listings once we approve the change.

- Buyers' names and shipping addresses are shown in the app so that orders can be shipped. They are not saved in our records.
- Buyers' email addresses are not read.
- When we show a buyer's public review (for example as a photo on a listing), we show it without the buyer's name or Etsy account.


4. PINTEREST

We use the Pinterest API only to read Pinterest Trends: trending search keywords, how fast they are growing, seasonal trends and trending product categories, for the regions and topics that matter to our jewelry products. We use this to decide which products to make and how to describe them.

- We do not post Pins, create boards, or read any user's Pins, boards, profiles or followers. We do not collect personal information about Pinterest users. Trends data is aggregated and anonymous.
- We connect only our own business Pinterest account, through Pinterest's own sign-in. The access token is kept in the device's Keychain and is never shared.
- We do not store Pinterest data. Trends are fetched from Pinterest each time they are viewed in the app, shown only to our own team, and discarded when the page is closed.
We do not sell, rent or share Pinterest data with anyone. It is not given to AI services and is not used to train any model.
- The connection can be removed at any time: in the app, and by revoking Shippinit's access in the Pinterest account's settings.


5. SHIPPING SERVICES

To buy shipping labels and track packages, our apps send the package details and tracking numbers that are needed to services such as USPS, UPS and ShipStation, under their own privacy policies.


6. AI SERVICES

We use Anthropic (Claude) and Google (Gemini) to help write and improve our own Etsy listings and to write our internal market reports. We send them listing text, product details, product photos, public Etsy search results and Etsy trend data. We never send them Pinterest data, buyers' personal information, order details, our costs or bank details.



7. SHARING

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share information only with the service providers named in this policy, only as far as needed for the purpose described, or when the law requires it.


8. KEEPING AND DELETING INFORMATION

We keep business records for as long as we need them to run our business and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it; we will answer within 30 days.


9. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS

If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, to ask us to correct or delete it, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in California law. To make a request, contact us using the details below.


10. CHILDREN

Our website and apps are for businesses. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.


11. SECURITY

We protect information with the safeguards described above, including Apple's iCloud security, encrypted fields for sensitive details, the device Keychain and password-protected backups. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to protect what we hold.


12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and post the new version on this page.
